A Renaissance Woman is a woman (as opposed to a Renaissance Man) who has broad intellectual interests and that is definitely me! I am interested in all sorts of fields from business and marketing to writing and education. As a wife and mother, family and children interest me and I love quotes and trivia too! So this site is all about ME -- Deanna Mascle Renaissance Woman! Here's a bit of trivia for you: A polymath (also known as a polyhistor) is a person who excels in multiple fields.
Not only am I as curious as a cat, a lifelong learner and avid reader, my professional life has also dictated that I develop a wide range of expertise. I have spent my entire professional career working as a writer and a teacher -- and well understand that the two fields overlap a great deal!
My name is Deanna Mascle. I grew up in a small town in Upstate New York (Williamson) and have earned degrees from SUNY Plattsburgh, the University of Bridgeport, and Eastern Kentucky University. I am currently working on my PhD at Texas Tech. My career has included serving as a newspaper reporter and editor, magazine writer and editor, published author, web site designer and content creator, e-zine publisher, freelance writer, GED instructor and college instructor. Today I live in Kentucky with my husband and son. I teach writing at Morehead State University and am an Infopreneur.
The interests of a Renaissance Woman can vary as widely as the individual women. My particular areas of interest include Family, Marketing, Money, Self Improvement, Trivia, and Writing.
I wish you all the best,
Sincerely,
Deanna Mascle
